Job Description

The Procter & Gamble U.S. Business Services is seeking a Platform and Information Delivery Leader (Cincinnati, OH) to architect and deliver data, analytics, and reporting capabilities to HR, Workday Global Process Owners, and other key customers within P&G. Perform advanced understanding of Employee/HR data in multiple technologies  -especially SAP HR and Workday report writing expertise and functional understanding of the data architecture within SAP HR and Workday. Troubleshoot business and production issues, perform root cause analysis to reduce future issues. Design, develop, configure, and test simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other organizational tools and available technologies. Evaluate evolving Workday and Prism reporting functionality to deliver against changing business needs. Provide cross-functional understanding of data and support in the validation of new and revised reports, as well as technical guidance. Develop Reports and Dashboards in Workday and Prism. Define and create calculation fields, security policies and other Workday objects to support the evolving reporting needs of the organization. Develop multiple development platforms (i.e., MS Azure, AWS, Salesforce, Web). Seven Direct Reports in the positions of Software Engineer, IT Software Engineer, Data & Reporting Architect and Engineer, and IT Engineer. Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Job Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field and 7 years of data architecture and analytics experience including managing and handling sensitive information. Must have 5 years of experience with: Understanding and interpreting business requirements, translating them into clear and concise technical requirements. Must have 3 years of experience with: Designing, developing, configuring, and testing simple to complex Workday reports and dashboards including experience with advanced, matrix, composite, and BIRT reports. Must have experience with: Employee/HR data in multiple technologies, especially SAP HR, and Workday; Data architecture within SAP HR and Workday; Collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy; Troubleshooting business and production issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and reduce future issues; Leveraging platforms such as MS Azure, AWS, Salesforce, and Web to design and implementing technical solutions based on business requirements. All successful candidates must pass a technical interview by P&G internal experts in the SAP Basis space and in addition the P&G standards for hiring including an online evaluation and 2 PEAK interviews.
