**About the Role & Program** Disney Platform Distribution is seeking an intern for our Platform Distribution Sales team. Platform Distribution negotiates the business, economic, technology, product, data and ad terms to establish and grow distribution of The Walt Disney Company's global direct-to-consumer products (Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu), linear TV channels (ABC, Disney Junior, ESPN, Freeform, National Geographic, etc.), theatrical films, ad-supported video, and podcasts with companies such as Apple, Google, Verizon, Sony, Spotify and more. Do you have organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as an interest in media & entertainment? This internship could be a great opportunity for you to work on a team with an initiative-taking mindset, and learn the intricacies of the entertainment business, including components of advertising, technology, finance, and law. The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through August 2025. **What You Will Do** + Assist with the various stages of the distribution lifecycle, such as audience development, reporting, marketing initiatives, sales presentations, etc. + Assist with business updates based on account activity and the needs of the team. + Help create, maintain, and refresh team documents and trackers. **Required Qualifications & Skills** + Familiarity with the media landscape, including competitors and industry trends. + High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment. + Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. + Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous experience (academic or internship) in entertainment business, marketing, sales or related industry + Experience in and/or interest in media landscape & distribution **Education** + Junior or Senior year preferred **Eligibility Requirements & Internship Information** **Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:** + Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. + Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. + Be at least 18 years of age + Possess unrestricted work authorization **Additional Information** + Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship + Fully available to work 40 hours per week during a Monday through Friday schedule + Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York, New York area + Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work The pay rate for this role in New York is $22.00 per hour.
