As a Platform Engineer within IBM Client Engineering, you'll play a key role in delivering unique client co-creation experiences to accelerate their transformation. You'll be involved in all aspects of integrated solutions, from identifying requirements to making technical decisions that impact the business case. Your role as a Platform Engineer will be to work with cross-functional teams to realize the full potential of our hybrid cloud and AI solutions to prove business value to our clients.

Here's what a typical day might look like:Leverage contemporary hybrid cloud skills (e.g., AI, analytics, DevOps, DevSecOps, IaC, automation, security, networking, and storage) with deep industry expertise and an understanding of your clients’ businesses.Define and communicate the unique value of IBM’s technology, both technically and commercially.Participate in client sessions that include a range of public and hybrid cloud technologies, such as Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud Paks, and Kubernetes.Support the solutions architecture plan and be a hands-on "builder" during client-facing engagements.Advice on solution architecture to align with platform best practices, with a focus on our clients target environment to ease transition to deployment.Work with deployment teams to transition platform assets and information to provide seamless transitions for our clients Salary starts at 1700 EUR gross per month based on relevant experience
