Job Purpose 

The Platform Engineer will be responsible for CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, and Kubernetes. Additionally, they will work with development teams to provide tooling and standards to accelerate development.

Responsibilities (80s of the Position) 

Manage CI/CD infrastructure Own the infrastructure code for our cloud infrastructure Manage and tune Kubernetes clusters and workloads Provide standards and patterns development teams can use to accelerate their work Manage internal and external helm charts and their associated deployments Manage automated security scanning tools and respond to applicable findings Manage IoT infrastructure

Required Experience 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience 3+ years working with Helm, Kubernetes and Terraform 3+ years working with cloud infrastructure 3+ years working with CI/CD tooling Experience with two or more programming languages Experience with secret management solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA Experience with automated testing Solid understanding of 12 Factor application methodogy

Preferred Experience  

Jenkins, especially Jenkins Configuration as Code ArgoCD Harness Observability platforms (Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc) Python NodeJS

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel for team events
