For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ _Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2_ **Responsibilities:** + Provide platform support for various third-party data platforms, including but not limited to DataStage, SAS, Tableau, PowerBI, Business Objects, DataIku, Denodo, Atacamma, Alation, BigID, CloudPak, NiFi, Kafka, Lenses, and Confluence. + Maintain the company platform uptime, performance, stability, and scalability + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the supported platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and maintain data platforms within the existing infrastructure. + Develop and maintain Bash scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency. + Monitor platform performance using solutions such as Dynatrace, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively. + Continual improvement and fine-tuning of various alerting and monitoring systems. + Provide guidance and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the data platforms. + Document processes, procedures, and best practices for platform support and maintenance. + Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data platforms and related technologies. + Lead platform related projects (including planning, communicating, and executing) such as migration efforts to new platforms or decommissioning obsolete platforms. **Experience Requirements:** + Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems. + Proven experience in supporting third-party products and data platforms. + Proficiency in writing and maintaining Bash scripts. + Experience with monitoring solutions such as Dynatrace. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
