Platform Strategy and Operations, Corporate Communications

Join us as a member of the Employee Communications and working within the highly skilled, respected Platform Strategy and Operations team.

This role supports the Head of Platform Strategy and Operations in the operational management of Barclays’ global internal communications channels, and the strategic evolution of the core employee communications platform - including the technologies used, our standards and governance.

You will ensure the successful stability and management of existing channels through evolution and implementation of future communications tools and products used to execute high quality, impactful employee communication. You will build strong relationships of influence across the Employee Communications business partner community and leadership team. You will identify opportunities to automate, simply and enhance our operational solutions for communications processes through expert awareness and advice of technology developments.

A strong focus on designing effective, simple solutions to delivery and processes to enable the evolution of Employee Communications future execution.

Have technical understanding of platform architecture, in particular the Microsoft ‘M365’ product suite

Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines

Have a strong attention to detail, with excellent vocabulary, spelling and grammar skills

Understand risk, governance, compliance and control issues and requirements

Accountabilities

Development and execution of a digital channels strategy.Management and optimisation of internal communication channels.Collaboration with external stakeholders to understand new digital channels and stay up to date on industry standards, trends, and best practice.
