Clearance Requirement: Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to maintain the Clearance

This position is required to travel OCONUS. 

Security+ or other IAT Level 2 certification and higher.

We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.
Leidos has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Windows Systems Administrator. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
 

So, what will you be doing in this role?

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related components.Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.Implement and enforce security protocols to protect data and systems.Optimize system performance and resource utilization through regular maintenance.

Qualifications:

Required:

Active Secret Clearance - Current US CitizenTESA Approval Required: Bachelors and 3 years experience, or Associates Degree and 7 years of experience or HS Diploma and 11 years of experience in the field of endeavor. No Waiver.Strong experience with Windows server administration and related technologies.Computing environment certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure101, etc).Security+ or other IAT Level 2 certification and higher.

Desired:

Experience with scripting in PowerShell.Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
