IQ Resource Group is looking for a Plating Worker to join our 2nd shift team in St. Paul MN! This is Direct Hire!

Pay: $21.00 per hour Location: St. Paul, MN
Hours: Full-Time | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

Set up and control the plating line to coat metal objects to provide protective or decorative surfaces according to customer specifications

Responsibilities:

Monitor quality of plating solution and inspects finished parts Read work order to determine specific plating instructions Follow instructions from job routings and supervisory personnel when running jobs to produce quality parts while maintaining desired production levels Process product in appropriate cleaning and rinsing baths Process product in plating solution for the appropriate amount of time required Remove plated products from solutions at periodic intervals and inspect products to ensure conformance to customer specifications Examine parts visually at end of process and measures thickness using instruments to ensure parts meet customer specifications Complete all the required paperwork for each job

Requirements:

Ability to process parts with less supervision. Good organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions Basic math and geometry for figuring square footage of parts and racks, and amperage requirements for plating thickness Ability to retain information and repeat the process Ability to maintain a regular and reliable attendance record Company and job-specific training will be provided as needed throughout employment High school diploma CEF (Certified Electroplater Finisher) certification desirable but not require. Must understand English and Vietnamese
