PLC and Robotics engineer

We are looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our R&D department's Electronic Infrastructure - Automation group to contribute to the development of complex and high precision Robotic and Programmable Logic Controls systems.

AMAT- PDC tools do inspection and analysis of defects, in chip fabrication process.
In the basis of these tools there are optical or electronic microscopes that uses top edge technologies from Physics, Electronics, Motion and control and more.
The Automation Group is creating both in-house and external vendor solutions for sophisticated PLC systems and high-precision robotic systems.
**What you'll be doing:**
+ Provide technical leadership on multi discipline engineering projects.
+ Work closely with multiple groups across the organization.
+ Defining requirements and specification for wafer handling systems.
+ Architectural and detailed and design of Programmable Logic Controls systems managing product operation, while maintaining total human and wafer safety.
+ Implements concepts for variety of complex product issues and electrical solutions of difficult scope.
+ Conducting concept and feasibility studies.
+ Selecting appropriate technologies and vendors.
**What you should have?**
+ Understanding of analog and digital electronics principles, programming and communication protocols, familiarity with PLC, robotics, motors, drivers, sensors, servo controllers.
+ Proven experience in designing and programming PLC systems, preferably in industrial automation. Strong knowledge of PLC hardware, software, and programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, FBD, structured text).
+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to PLC design and safety (e.g., IEC 61131, ISO 13849).
+ Knowledge of other automation technologies, such as SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication protocols, is a plus.
+ Project management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Degree in electrical engineering or related field with design experience of 4 years or more.
