Job Description

Seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to design and implement PLC based automation control systems incorporating motion control, advanced sensors, VFD drives, and actuators. Responsibilities include supporting existing systems, performing Level 1 control system programming, completing complex assignments, interfacing with project teams, and conducting integrated system testing and simulations. The role also involves on-site commissioning and training as required, alongside designing and executing automation solutions for a variety of metallurgy equipment.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

On-site 5 days a week with 25-30% travel required, mainly within the US, with potential but unlikely travel to Mexico. Travel may involve 2-3 weeks of continuous on-site work following periods with no travel.
