KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Retrieving customer requirements and translating these into a working (automation) solution. Developing and maintaining PLC and HMI software for various clients. Thinking along about innovative solutions. Testing your developed software by means of FAT (and later SAT). Commissioning of your solution at the customer's site, possibly abroad.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in: Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or similar. Technical Professional Degree towards Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. Minimum Five (5) years of PLC Software Engineer, minimum experience when in possession of a Professional Degree. Fluency in Afrikaans and English is a must. Social, strong communicative skills. Drivers’ license. Entrepreneurial behaviour is a plus.
