PLC Technician
**Job Title: PLC Technician** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a PLC Technician, specializing in programming conveyor systems for retail accounts. In this role, you will provide support over the phone to clients and co-workers in the field, designing, implementing, and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Provide phone support to clients and co-workers in the field. + Design, implement, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment. + Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting. + Participate in the installation process, handling both mechanical and electrical functions. + Work collaboratively with a Controls Engineer during installs. **Essential Skills** + Experience with HMI, Integration, and Automation. + Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLCs. + Strong electrical design and troubleshooting skills. + Solid programming skills, especially in PLC programming. + Ability to design and implement control systems for conveyor systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2 or 4-year Technical/Engineering Degree related to Controls/PLC exposure. + Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical installations. + Willingness to travel extensively for six months out of the year. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a growing company that offers ample training opportunities and pairs you with experienced Controls Engineers for hands-on learning.
