PLC Technician
**Job Title: PLC Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled PLC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing robotic systems, equipment, and components. You will assist in the development of diagnostic tests and troubleshooting tools, as well as develop and maintain detailed repair activity reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping of tools and equipment, developing proposals for equipment purchases, and ensuring the completion of assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic systems, equipment, and components. + Assist in the development and selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures. + Develop and maintain detailed repair activity reports. + Maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair areas. + Develop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions. + Ensure the completion of assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience with assembly and troubleshooting. + Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings. + Experience in robotics is preferred. + Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. + Knowledge of schematic, hydraulics, preventive maintenance, and maintenance technician tasks. + Experience with 3-phase systems, ladder logic, programming, automation, PLC troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, instrumentation, robotics, pneumatics, electrical maintenance, and PLC programming. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2 or more years of proven competency in a technical capacity. + Proven experience in troubleshooting robotic equipment and/or industrial automation systems. + Self-motivated and highly organized. + Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time. + Understanding of various types of mechanical and electrical test equipment. + Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints. + Ability to handle multiple tasks. + Demonstrates initiative and is self-motivated. + Hands-on skill set with readiness to learn and utilize information at a fast pace. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values innovation and professional growth. During the training and acclimation phase, the schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, lasting approximately 3-8 weeks. Post-training, there are various shifts available including Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM, Monday to Friday from 12 PM to 8 PM, and Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday from 6 AM to 2/4 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooksville, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
