Job Description
You will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process. You will work directly with the Engineering team to improve processes for output and waste levels, providing leadership and ownership of process performance issues.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain all electrical systems used on production equipment.Perform preventive maintenance on designated production equipment as specified in the PM Program to ensure smooth operation.Assist Engineering with installation, debugging, and start-up of equipment, and maintain and adjust vision systems within defined parameters.Maintain equipment logs, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance problems.Document all process changes using approved control change procedures.Ensure all safety and environmental procedures are maintained.Provide Production Supervisors with relevant information on equipment and process performance, including production and waste information.Provide leadership to other associates in problem-solving of production equipment.Coordinate and support other maintenance activities as needed.Essential SkillsPLC experienceAbility to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot systems using themMultimeter troubleshooting to identify voltage issuesMechanical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and programmingExperience with Allen-Bradley, ladder logic, and repairing electrical systemsExperience with preventive maintenanceAdditional Skills & QualificationsElectrical experience with 24V up to 480VUnderstanding of AB PLCs, VFDs, and relaysAbility to get online and change programs if neededUnderstanding of ladder logic and ability to watch a program to identify issuesExperience with changing panel views and downloading programsMechanical experience with hydraulics, vacuum pumps, roller and materials conveyors, replacing gearboxes, conveyors, rebuilding conveyors, and SERVO motor replacementKnowledge of CAM systemsRobotics experience is helpful but not necessaryMechanical aptitude with an electronic focusWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work 8pm-8am on a 3, 2, 2, 3 schedule. Training will be provided from 8am-4pm (M-F) for about 8-10 weeks before transitioning to the 8pm-8am shift. The plant operates 24/7 with approximately 900 employees. This is a direct hire position in the Wingsets department, where you will be involved in assembling devices for blood collection. No options for first shift are available, and onboarding starts on Mondays.
