Job Description
The PLC Technician is responsible for designing, programming, repairing, and maintaining programmable logic controller (PLC) systems used within our facilities. The PLC Technician inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. This role may also support repairs and installations for other advanced production/manufacturing equipment. The PLC Technician diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes more complicated repairs or adjustments as needed.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and program PLC systems.Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.Perform preventative maintenance duties according to manufacturer's specifications.Support repairs and installations for other advanced production/manufacturing equipment.Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform complex repairs or adjustments.Essential SkillsExperience with fillers, coolers, packagers, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.Proficiency in working with Allen Bradley PLCs, ACDC motors, and three-phase motors.Hands-on experience with electrical systems, particularly 480V.Experience with high-speed beverage manufacturing equipment such as Krones, Sidel, and others.5-7 years of hands-on electrical mechanical experience in a high-speed beverage industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, and boiler systems.Experience with Krones Fillers, Krones Labelers Contiroll, KHS Packers, Apolo Spirals, and Benvco Fillers.Leadership experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a clean facility that is partially climate-controlled. As a GMP facility, candidates will be required to wear hair nets, beard nets, and ear plugs at all times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
