Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Technician to supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in large commercial or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will perform complex troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues and compliance with safety regulations.
ResponsibilitiesPerform complex troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, resolving issues in a timely manner.Ensure electrical work is completed according to blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations.Manage and mentor a team of electricians, apprentices, and assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.Coordinate with leadership, engineers, and other trades to ensure electrical work aligns with overall goals.Oversee and maintain inventory of electrical materials and tools, ensuring proper stock levels and availability.Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols for electrical work to minimize risk.Follow lean manufacturing guidelines, providing continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency.Essential Skills5-7 years of experience in electrical installation and repair.Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience controlling electrical systems involving a wide array of manufacturing machinery.Expert level in PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics with panel and controls.Mechanical troubleshooting skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required, and climb portable ladders. Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are necessary.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00
