Summary The Plex Systems Trainer & Support Specialist is responsible for training both new hires and veteran employees on the Plex Manufacturing System. This role ensures employees understand essential system functions, including logging in/out, production screens, inventory management, transactions, and quality processes. Additionally, this position provides support when issues arise. Document processes and communicates effectively with supervisors and ensures the work center setup is properly configured.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
+ Conduct training sessions for new hires and experienced employees on the Plex Manufacturing System.
+ Guide employees through essential functions such as logging in/out, control panel navigation, production screens, and managing inventory.
+ Teach processes for handling raw and finished goods containers.
+ Train employees to use Quality checksheets.
+ Teach the importance of executing move transactions.
+ Explain how and when to split and merge jobs in the system.
+ Ensure employees understand how to monitor inventory and manage non-conforming processes.
Issue Resolution & System Support
+ Provide real-time support when employees encounter issues in Plex.
+ Troubleshoot common issues such as incorrect job quantities, serial number loading errors, label printing failures, and inventory discrepancies.
+ Investigate and resolve system-related concerns efficiently
Documentation & Communication
+ Maintain clear and detailed documentation for training materials and troubleshooting guides.
+ Communicate effectively with employees and supervisors regarding process updates and issue resolutions.
Workcenter & Supervisor Support
+ Identify and address issues with work center setup that may impact productivity.
+ Serve as a go-to resource for supervisors, guiding them through Plex-related challenges.
+ Train supervisors on how to handle and resolve issues within Plex, ensuring long-term efficiency.
Inventory & Cycle Counts
+ Oversee and train employees on cycle count procedures to maintain accurate inventory records.

Education and/or Experience
+ High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) equivalent and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Expertise in use of Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
+ Experience with the Plex Manufacturing System or similar ERP software.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
+ Excellent communication and training skills.
+ Ability to document processes and create user-friendly training materials.
+ Attention to detail and ability to identify workflow inefficiencies.
+ Experience in manufacturing, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
