Summary of Internship

The Internship positions provide an opportunity for engineering and data science students to get hands on experience in improving the Product Lifecycle Management solutions in global Designer environment.

Essential Functions:

Become familiar with the processes and standards for TPD creation and maintenanceCollaborate with Operations and RnD teams to set problem or enhancement specification requirementsCollaborate with PDM team members develop solution, test specification and create training documentationAccept feedback and look for areas of improvementsSpecific tasks will be tailored to the intern’s experience level and abilities

Qualifications:

Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or life cycle management fieldPreferred majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering/science majorStrong desire and motivation to develop a career in Product Lifecycle Management areaAbility to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional teamAbility to learn, be mentored, and improveDesire to contribute and improve setup of new and existing PLM/CAD solutionsPassionate about standards and data qualityDesire to teach other Designers about new system setup and digital innovationsThough not mandatory: knowledge of any of the following tools is advantageous: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or other CAD/PLM system is beneficial
