Overview

Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort is transforming into The Sunny, an exciting new hospitality experience in Sunny Isles Beach. As we grow, we’re looking for a skilled Plumber to join our engineering team and help maintain our newly reimagined property.

 

The future Sunny in the heart of Sunny Isles Beach is poised to redefine the beach getaway experience offering a perfect blend of rich history and unparalleled amenities. The resort will feature 339 spacious guest rooms, an eclectic private art collection, six food and beverage outlets, a fitness center, spa & salon, ocean-front pool with tiki bar and fire pits, beach club, and over 22,000 square feet of event space, including a unique oceanfront terrace. 

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, drains, and fixtures.Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs promptly.Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure all plumbing systems are in optimal working condition.Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.Respond to service requests from hotel departments and guests.Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each task.Coordinate with other maintenance staff to address and resolve issues quickly. Qualifications

What we are looking for:

Proven experience as a plumber, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and techniques.Valid plumbing license and knowledge of local plumbing codes.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Previous experience in a hotel or commercial setting preferred.
