Job Title: Commercial Construction Plumber

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in new commercial buildings. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, blueprints, and building codes to ensure all installations are performed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and Maintain Plumbing Systems: Install pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in new commercial buildings.Read and Interpret Blueprints: Understand and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.Coordinate with Construction Teams: Work closely with construction managers, architects, and other trades to ensure plumbing systems are integrated seamlessly into the building structure.Ensure Compliance: Adhere to local and national building codes and safety standards during all phases of installation and maintenance.Test Plumbing Systems: Conduct tests on plumbing systems using air or water pressure gauges to ensure there are no leaks and systems are functioning correctly.

Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and building codes.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills to interact with clients, project managers, and other trades.Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and working in various positions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
