Responsibilities:

Perform plumbing system design calculationsPrepare contract drawings and specifications detailing the designed systemsSelect equipment for use in building systemsKnowledge of plumbing code(s) and applicable NFPA codes within the industryCoordinate work with engineers of other disciplines/companiesAttend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issuesIncorporate sustainable design methods in buildingsReport writing/specification preparation

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in engineering/science or a related discipline10+ years’ experienceAutoCAD and Revit MEP proficiency requiredCertified Plumbing Designer (CPD), and LEED AP preferredProven ability to design and draft, and general computer knowledge is a must
