Plumbing & Fire Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing/Fire Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing plumbing and fire protection systems for various building projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate plumbing and fire protection systems into overall building designs.Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material specifications.Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during construction and commissioning phases.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to plumbing and fire protection engineering.Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IPC, UPC).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00
