Our Architecture and Building Engineering Group is actively seeking a dynamic Supervisor to lead our Plumbing and Fire Protection unit. We’re looking for a leader who thrives on solving complex challenges, excels in mentorship, and is eager to inspire and guide a team toward success.



Responsibilities for this role include: 

Provide strong leadership and support to the team to ensure department policies and procedures are followed Oversee team production and ensure quality control measures to maintain high technical standards on all technical work Actively support and contribute to business development initiatives Review and approve staff timesheets and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance Mentoring staff and providing professional development opportunities Manage staff resources and balance workloads effectively by collaborating with other managers. Partner with HR and leadership to strategically expand the team and enhance skill sets. Collaborate with the Department Manager regarding strategic planning related to growth and development of the team. Some travel may be required.



Qualifications:


The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling 7 years of relevant experience:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, plumbing, or architectural engineering (or relevant degree) plus 3 years of experience; OR associate degree in mechanical, or architectural engineering (or relevant degree) plus 5 years of experience; OR no degree plus 7 years of relevant experience


Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

12+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred PE License in any state with the ability to obtain in other states strongly preferred Prior Supervisory experience a plus Designing plumbing systems for building projects Designing fire protection systems for building projects Managing projects and providing technical oversight Leading a team and managing workload Mentoring project staff Business development tasks (client relationships and proposal development)
