**Job Title: Plumbing Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in State College, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. **Responsibilities** + Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures in plumbing systems. + Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with local codes and regulations. + Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and low water pressure. + Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication with clients regarding issues and solutions. + Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner. + Ensure all work sites are clean, safe, and in compliance with safety standards. + Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. + Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in plumbing technology. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of service plumbing experience + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation + Own tools + Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment + Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings + Strong communication and customer service skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with HVAC systems + Knowledge of water systems, valves, valve repair, water heaters, and piping + Mechanical inclination + Experience with PVC and cast iron pipes, gauge installation, and boiler systems **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive salary, health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, paid time off and holidays, as well as ongoing training and professional development opportunities. **Work Environment** This is a service plumbing role that involves working in various settings.
