This position involves managing team members, creating and managing preventive maintenance plans, educating customers, and building strong relationships with our manufacturing partners to provide centrally supported planned maintenance products. The ideal candidate should have a fundamental knowledge of construction and agricultural equipment, along with a basic understanding of equipment mechanics. Proficiency in Microsoft products especially Microsoft Excel and moderate computer skills are essential. This role requires someone who is inquisitive and willing to ask questions, yet confident enough to make decisions and proactively identify the next steps to drive successful products that meet our customers’ needs.
Specific Duties:
Manager a team of individuals working toward the advancement of PM objectives. Maintaining existing PM plans. Developing PM plans for new models and equipment to widen our ability to support the field. Finding new ways to simplify existing processes. Monitor telematics connections on machines with PM plans. Ensure our Customers and Rental fleet are up to date for PMs. Partner with other teams within RDO to keep marketing material, training material and field communication up to date. Provide virtual and/or in person training to our internal and external customers for the Connected Support products and services including but not limited to planned maintenance. Be able to demonstrate value of Connected Support and technology to our stakeholders, especially our customers and employees to drive acceptance of technology in the machines. Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set. Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
