PMO Lead

We are seeking a talented PMO Lead to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Marsh Operations and Technology are on an exciting, multiyear and complex journey to deliver operational excellence across its global footprint. This role will line into the Global PMO Team. 

We will count on you to:

Support management of complex project/programs end-to-end to deliver business outcomes, ensuring program is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction. Owns development and implementation of standards, methods, tools, templates for project management, execution and reporting. Actively drives and ensures compliance to use of Planview portfolio management tool. Manages regular project/program assessments through toll gate reviews and health checks. Actively manage all program risks and issues, and ensure Lessons Learned on projects are shared with colleagues and recommendations adopted are implemented. Management of governance councils, responsible for scheduling, pack production and action, minute and decision taking. Ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the portfolio. Establish, manage and embed benefits tracking & benefits realization reporting across project portfolios. Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Portfolio Project Management application. Regularly review, ascertain priorities & milestones and assess the achievement of the objectives contained within the strategic plan. Establish, manage and embed portfolio / program / project reporting standards. Conduct due diligence and quality control of business cases / investment requests. Co-ordinates with key functional groups such as Finance & HR. Provides project/program management expertise and guidance to the regional, divisional, and global project management community. Promote continuous improvement and drive enhanced ways of working. 

What you need to have: 

Successful applicant will have experience working within various project delivery environments in a mid/senior PMO analyst/lead role.Project management and Agile experienceConfident stakeholder engagement: Regularly interfaces with internal senior management and client executive level personnel, as well as identifies global subject matter experts on the project at hand.Assists in the exploration of intricate solutions to highly complex business requirements for project.Serves as the subject matter expert in the project functionality being provided, the business domain being served, and the project planning tools used.Delegates work to and guides professional and support staff, ensuring adherence to departmental standards and procedures.Reviews, mentors, and coaches lower level professional and support staff.Proficiency in project management tools and software.
