Position Summary

Why join our team?

We are looking for a PMO manager to join Samsung MX team, aligning cross functional internal teams to deliver against the SEUK strategy focusing on; overhauling the financial and marketing funding pipeline for MX, coordinating and updating internal processes to deliver best in class campaigns, owning the yearly planning cycle and increasing operational efficiencies by working with our key agencies partners to deliver the best service.

This role is dedicated to supporting and coordinating integrated planning across MX. Whilst being a key point of daily contact for our local team, you will also be responsible for building a positive relationship with stakeholders, agency leads and external partners.

Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

What are the key responsibilities & what will be your key deliverables?

Processes (launches and financial)

Manage the day to day communications with cross functional teams to deliver a combination of launches and planning processes across Samsung MX (Mobile phones, tablets, hearables, wearables, PC) on time and in full, ensuring that we establish and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual planning processes. You will be the go to PIC for all questions and will be responsible for answering questions in a timely manner and finding solutions.Lead on the renewal of the MX marketing blueprint process from start to finish, working with key stakeholders to overhaul to ensure timely tracking of spend, accurate reporting, fair distribution and increase ROI. It will be your responsibility to ensure this process is implemented properly, is delivering for the business and will be your responsibility to analyse and report any teams or parties deviating from guidance.Own the security of the end-to-end launch process for multiple HQ, internal and agency partners – this role is the point contact for all security related measures across MX. Regularly assessing adaptability of security plans, scrutinising adherence to steps and processes and report back to HQ and LT on learnings and findings.Oversee the full MX team reporting overhaul – managing metrics and overlooking the reporting processes across MX, automating and collating reporting, cascading these in an easily sharable Suwon format with key stakeholders across SEUK on a regular cadence to help understand business performance.

Agencies

Own the MX Agency management workstream from end to end, ensuring agencies deliver excellence in idea creation, client market management, workflow management and deliverable output whilst ensuring they are prepared, accredited and adhering to Samsung security procedures. Report back to Lead and Head of on your findings and recommendations on a quarterly basis.

Manage and fully control the MX Production agency, working with key stakeholders to ensure agency is delivering on time, AI automation is rolling out as per the contract and the cost efficiencies are being realized. Manage the investment matrix ensuring automation savings are realized alongside the efficiencies. Report back to to key stakeholders on performance, identifying areas of improvement needed.

Work alongside the ‘PMO Lead’,  ‘Lead Planning & Finance Manager’ & ‘Head of IMG’ to handle the forecasting of workload and agency spend, ensuring that contracts and payments are delivered on time through full RFP processes.Develop and align teams behind bi-annual agency reviews. Deliver feedback to agencies and develop plans to course correct issues or areas of underperformance – presenting back to the LT.Develop and implement ways to ensure that quantity and quality of work is periodically measured and critical metrics are developed to ensure continual improvements.Ensure adhere to best-in-class financial management and reconciliation

Encouraging and driving a culture of collaboration, innovation and standard process across MX leading to efficiencies felt by all levels of the team.A revamped financial blueprint planning process that reviews campaigns to ensure they deliver on SEUK strategic goals with strong ROI, tracks spend accurately, delivers campaign codes in and that reconciles investment faster allowing for tactical re-investment.Deliver outstanding automated reporting, aligned to Suwon formats, consolidated across teams and delivered in a timely, easy to understand manner to key stakeholders – overall number of reports decreasing and becoming more centralised.Establishing valuable relationships with key agencies, through QBRs / proactive projects and RFP processes to get the best service for Samsung that meets SEUK goals at more efficient investment levels.
