Pod Bartender-Part Time (Highroller)

Job Summary: Provides excellent service to all guests who approach the bar. Keeps the bar area cleaned and stocked at all times. 

Qualifications:   One year previous experience as a Bartender or Apprentice Bartender preferred. Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service.  Previous money-handling and cash register experience is preferred.  Must be able to pass a math test.  Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be 21 years of age.  Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. Must be able to communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.  Must present a well-groomed appearance.  Additional Qualifications include:

· Free Pour – Measured shots consistently

· Thorough understanding and limited execution of flair (bottle flipping)

· Capable of assisting bar staff with fire, following certified guidelines

·  Must be able to dance and sing to choreographed routines.

·  Must be able to deliver Spotlight on Service standards at their highest level.

Essential Job Functions:

Minimum of three months experience as a bar porter. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a Health card. Must understand, speak, read and write English. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must retrieve requested beverages from storage dock and manually push loaded carts to designated storage area and bars. Must be able to push garbage cart and dollies on casino floor. Must be able to load ice, beer and glassware for stocking at all bars. Must be able to scrub, mop and power wash mats and floors behind bars. Must be able to change garbage cans and dump garbage out from designated locations. Must be able to change soda bibs and liquor bottles in pump rooms. Must be able to lift a keg of beer   Must be able to change a keg of beer. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies. Perform other duties assigned by Management. Must have excellent communication skills Must be able to stand/walk 90% of shift Must be able to perform regular bar operations on a portable bar cart in a High Roller cabin while providing excellent customer service. Must be able to perform regular bar sales on a portable bar cart anywhere in the High Roller building.

Work requires ability to lift and carry approximately 110 - 120 pounds and ability to push and/or pull approximately 300-650 pounds on wheels.

Work requires visual abilities needed to safely operate motorized equipment.

Attention to detail and the visual capabilities needed to inspect work upon completion are required.

 

Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands: Must be able to work inside assigned bar area in the casino/hotel.  Must be able to lift 100-120 pounds and manually push up to 650 pounds.  Must be able to bend, pull and carry bar stock to refrigerators and cabinets. Must be able to use hand motion when preparing and pouring all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers. Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping down bar counters.  Must be able to complete required paperwork for cash transactions. Must be able to operate: cash register, two and six wheel carts, juice, soda and liquor guns, knife and cutting boards, coffee and frozen drink machines, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, blenders and beer keg/soda/wine/juice hook-ups.  Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.  Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.  Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
