The Division of General Medicine & Geriatrics is actively building an integrated team practice model for delivering high quality medical care and service to the patients we serve, including transitional care of hospitalized patients. The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve clinical care goals. Our practice is recognized by the State of Oregon as a Tier 4 Patient Centered Primary Care Home and a Comprehensive Primary Care Plus clinic site. This position will include interim care and a coverage clinic. This position is designed to increase after-hours and same day appointment access for practice’s patients as well as increase our overall patient access. Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in our practice is essential. Experience in primary care preferred.
Function/Duties of Position Precepting or urgent care in the Faculty Practice 4 half days/week, with at least one and likely two evening clinicsParticipate in clinical based teachingPotential to attend on the general medicine wardsOn average 3 days per week of ultrasound educational activities and practice in varying clinical settingsAttend weekly image review & planning sessions with the program facultyCreate, participate in, or complete at least 1 IRB approved research projectContribute to ultrasound teaching events for students and residentsOtherwise positively contribute to the OHSU Point of Care Ultrasound Group Required Qualifications MD/DOABIM board-eligible or board-certifiedNew graduates considered

Work hours are as required to complete assignment, core hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with weekend time required while on inpatient service.
