Position Summary:

This position is responsible for creating a fun-filled and exciting gaming experience for our guests while supervising and securing their assigned Poker game, per department policies and procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Supervises and secures assigned Poker game according to department policies and proceduresMaintains game supervision while interacting with the playersEnforces internal controls, Gaming Commission regulations and poker game proceduresGreets guests with a smile and friendly welcome and promotes superior guest service

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Rates players accurately and resolves guest issues and concerns promptly and efficientlyImprove skills of Dealers through training and counseling on a daily basis

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a Poker Floor Supervisor or one year of full-time Poker dealing experience in a high volume, complex casino environmentMust be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skillsAbility to efficiently maintain and supervise multiple gamesKnowledge of all department policies, procedures, rules and regulations pertaining to the game

Training Requirements:

Must attend all appropriate Human Resources Supervisor Training classesFully understands all Poker rules in The Poker Rule Book and Poker Policy and Procedure ManuelFully understands all gaming rules and regulationsRequired to attend annual CTR/SARC training and refresher coursesKnowledge of Ascent, EmpowerTime and Manager Self Service systems

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, low lighting and loud music and noisesMust be able to bend, stand and stretch for long periods of timeMust be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptionsMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
