Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will apprehend personnel, both combative and non-combative members of the public. You will perform traffic law enforcement using specialized equipment such as radar, breathalyzer, etc. You will uses computer equipment and specialized web-based law enforcement programs to fuse intelligence and establish, update, query or print individual or vehicle registration and other law enforcement sensitive information. You will serve as a primary investigator of offenses committed by or against military and civilian personnel, or against government and private property located on installations. You will performs a full range of force protection, anti-terrorism and sentry duties at installations or activities with significant operational assets, unrestricted access points, large populations onboard and around the installation/activity. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-6 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Responds immediately, assesses and reports situation, and conducts mitigating actions and preliminary investigations relating to a full spectrum of critical incidents; 2); Reports and investigates suspicious activities; reporting intelligence threats or possible compromises; performing vehicle and personnel inspections; and 3) Conducts investigative stops, questions, detains, and takes appropriate action to resolve incidents as required. GS-5 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Responds to and investigates complaints while interpreting and enforcing state and federal laws and regulations; 2) Operates electronic tactical police communications equipment, including mobile data terminals to receive dispatches, respond to calls and complete official reports; and 3) Completes out accident reports as required. Education GS-5: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in Police Science or a comparable degree program related to the work of the position.
