About the Role

Specialist/Consultant (Insurance Operations – Maturity, Benefits/Batch Payment Processing)

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership & Decision-Making

Administrate, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.Make independent decisions to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

2. Maturity & Benefits/Batch Payment Administration

Oversee end-to-end batch payment processing (accuracy, timeliness).Ensure all payments processing adhere to Compliance related regulations

3. Reporting, Data Analysis & Monitoring

Generate detailed reports (performance metrics, payment reconciliations, payment trends).Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.Maintain meticulous records for audit and regulatory review.

4. Process Improvement & Documentation

Review and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with best practices.Design & refine process flows to visualize workflows and bottlenecks.Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both efficiency and regulatory adherence.Collaborate with IT/Finance to automate manual processes where applicable.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years in Insurance Operations (Maturity, benefits/batch payments processing & administration).Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, delegate, and meet KPIs.Analytical & Technical Skills.Advanced Microsoft Suite skill (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Data analysis & reporting (dashboards, KPIs, trend insights).Process mapping (flowcharts, swimlane diagrams).Process Improvement mindset.Experience in SOP development/revision.Passion for eliminating redundancies and enhancing efficiency.
