Policy Search Supervisor

KEY OBJECTIVE:

The Policy Search Team Supervisor for the Brandywine Group of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (“Brandywine”) will need to provide policy search support for the department.  The successful candidate will show the managerial aptitude necessary to lead others within the policy search team.

 

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

Learn and execute the duties and responsibilities of a Brandywine policy search team member and support the Brandywine Operations Manager. Position will report to the Brandywine Operations AVP.

The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

 Learn corporate background, history, various data sources, follow policy and procedures to perform investigative steps needed for detailed, comprehensive policy search requests needed by claims and legal staff  Provide accurate policy search testimony for depositions Evaluate processes for improvement opportunities Support team member hiring and retention as well as providing coaching to support learning and development. Complete metric reports and communicate with Brandywine Operations Management  Execute objectives under guidance of Brandywine Operations Management team and Legal

Qualifications

 3-5 years people and process supervisionProperty & Casualty Insurance knowledge helpfulCollege degree preferred Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook SQL Database experience preferred
