Policy Support Officer II/ Senior Associate Policy Administration

The purpose of this role is to support policy documentation across various business lines, handle customer inquiries, and manage policy transactions efficiently. This role may involve data entry, customer service, work allocation monitoring, and determining premium charges using manual rating methods. The focus is on ensuring accurate policy handling based established protocols and procedures on and providing administrative support to the team.

Responsibilities:

Review, analyse and interpret processing instructions, applications, and work request correspondence from underwriters and agents.Provide rating and processing support for lines of business and multi-state accounts.Process underwriting policy issuance and amendments within established guidelines.Provide customer service support for underwriting assistants and underwriters, handling inquiries and requests with a high level of complexity.Work with underwriting assistants and underwriters to deliver timely and accurate products for multiple lines of business.Ensure underwriting policies are followed and referals/escalation matrix is applied when appropriate.Establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.Maintain product, system and process knowledge.

Work Experience:

Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

Policy administration experience.BPO experience with shifting schedules.Rating and processing experience.Data entry experience.Administrative support experience.Insurance industry background.Increasing levels of responsibility.

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
 

Preferred Qualifications include:

Territory qualified.
