As a Polisher, you will be responsible for grinding and polishing on a variety of materials. Assembly and packaging for finished products may also be required. Must be proficient in polishing techniques for most relevant materials while adhering to quality and safety standards. This is a 2nd shift opportunity from 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm.

You Will:

Be proficient in most polishing techniques for relevant materialsBe proficient in equipment set-ups to prepare product for final assemblyUnderstand and engage in department metricsBe proficient in scrap out proceduresInterpret blueprintsBe responsible for individual production schedule expectationsBe proficient within applicable computer programs and scanning operationsBe proficient in most Standard Operating Procedures for applicable department/cellHave knowledge of product packaging procedures and labelingComplete Industrial Lift Certification (as needed)Meet productivity expectationsHave proficient understanding of department specific tools and measuring equipmentSustain inventory and parts replenishment systemSupport Continuous ImprovementParticipate in department meetings effectivelySupport new product initiatives

You Have:

High school diploma or equivalent work experience1 - 3 years of polishing experience required; or equivalent combination of education and training.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time. Respirators are required; therefore, successful completion of pulmonary function and fit tests are required.
