About the Role
Marsh Middle East is seeking a Political Risk and Structured Credit (PRSC) Broker to join our growing team in the MENA region. This role is ideal for an experienced broker with strong technical expertise in political risk and structured credit insurance. You will be responsible for structuring and placing risk solutions with global insurers, driving business growth, and strengthening client relationships—particularly in energy, power, and construction sectors.
With a focus on KSA growth and managing key offshore clients based in DIFC, you will play a vital role in expanding our market presence while maintaining exceptional service standards. Arabic language skills are an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Broking & Insurance Placement (50%)
Lead the end-to-end broking process, structuring placements, negotiating terms, and managing policy wordings.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Lloyd’s, company markets, and multilaterals, securing competitive coverage for clients.
Utilize Marsh’s bespoke platforms to enhance client offerings.
Oversee policy management, including claims handling (where applicable) and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Business Development & Market Growth
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the MENA region, focusing on KSA expansion.
Collaborate with Country Sales Leaders to train local teams and increase awareness of PRSC solutions.
Present to insurers on prospective business requirements and develop competitive risk solutions.
Leverage referrals, networking, and cross-selling to grow the PRSC portfolio.
Client Management & Advisory
Act as a key point of contact for strategic clients, ensuring high service standards and retention.
Provide expert guidance on political risk and structured credit solutions, offering reassurance and capability to clients.
Support Client Executives in delivering training sessions, workshops, and policy operations.
Maintain compliance with Marsh’s servicing protocols and industry regulations.
What We Are Looking For
5–8 years of experience in political risk and structured credit broking, preferably in a boutique firm or specialized insurance company.
Strong technical expertise in structured credit, political risk, and credit insurance markets.
Proven ability to manage insurer relationships and drive business growth.
Experience working with clients in energy, power, and construction sectors.
A client-centric mindset, with the ability to reassure and support strategic clients.
Arabic language skills are an advantage.
