Poly (HP) Voice Category Manager APAC

Summary: 

As Poly Voice Category Manager for APAC you will be responsible for- 

Developing and executing the Poly Voice strategy for Distribution and Tier 2 Channels organizations – including HSPs (Hosted Service Providers).Growing market share by defending key accounts, growing the Voice business and acquiring new business channels/customers.

Responsibilities: 

Development and execution of voice channel forecast/commit, go-to-market strategy and business plan for APAC - in conjunction with the Global Voice Category  LeadSpecific focus on ANZ (Australia, New Zealand) and Japan for FY25/26.Drive the strategy to retain, grow and add business for the APAC Voice market working with Category sales in region(s).Be a thought leader in the industry who understands the industry’s challenges and opportunities, and who can evangelize the value of Poly voice solutions. Work with the local APAC Channel sales teams, to provide feedback and define requirements to build compelling offers to our partners. Be the field facing subject matter expert (SME) on all things Poly Voice in NA. Navigate difficult supply chain challenge and communicate pertinent updates out to the field channel organization.Specific focus on Aged inventory, managing forecasts, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), low runners SKUs, high runner SKUs and working daily with the in country teams on inventory management.NPI market readiness- content, demand planning/forecasting, sample process and trainings. Support APAC channel sales teams by removing critical roadblocks that impact the voice business- supply, messaging, new product introductions, product lifecycle, etc. Drive large opportunities to closure by partnering with sales by leveraging current programs and pricing incentives; often creating new programs / pricing by opportunity,Fully grasp and understand the often complicated, and complex, HP processes that Poly fall under.Own the deal creation (OPGs, special bids etc) along with the local Category teams and Voice Category global PLM.Identify whitespace opportunities and plan to address these issuesMaintain relationships with key domain specialists with our alliance partners and facilitate them using a one preferring poly for their channel eventsDriving sales enablement for large HSPs to maximise poly market share within these accounts

Required Competencies: 

Must be a self-motivated, self-starter.  The ability to work alone, with minimal direction, is critical.   Demonstrable leadership skills to recruit, retain, mentor, train and energize the sales and sales leadership team to sell voice solutions in APAC.Relationship builder who can effectively manage conflict, build rapport and bring many teams together to achieve a common goal (voice revenue and market share gain).Experience in working with and building channel relationships.Channel experience and deep industry knowledge is a must. Ideally in the Voice space/segment….Strong collaborator that works well cross-functionally- internally and externally. Successful track record in working alone, but as part of a diverse team.Experience working and delivering in APAC markets – Australia and Japan, but also other key APAC countries.Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to roll with the punches……..Prove ability to affect transformation of product and process in a competitive environment. Expert communication, presentation, and time management skills.Timely, accurate reporting on deliverables.Process-driven with the ability to use quantitative and analytical skills to drive sales growth, form strategy, create consistency and execute on performance. Analytical thinker - uses data to drive decisions. 6-8+ years of experience preferred.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
