We are seeking individuals to join the Polysomnographic team as a Polysomnographic Technologist Trainee. In this role individuals will be introduced to the Polysomnographic position through a 90-day in-house training course. Following the classroom learning, you will be provided with on-the-job training as this role gains proficiency in and performs the basics of Polysomnographic testing and associated intervention while under the direct supervision of a Polysomnographic Technician or Technologist.

• High school diploma or GED plus 6 months of direct patient care experience or 1 year of related post-secondary education or current enrollment in an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
• Orientation check-offs completed within 90 days of hire.
• Competencies completed within 90 days of hire.
• AASM Modules completed within 180 days of hire.
• Attendance at monthly CEU presentations.
• Pass the board exam and become a credentialed (RPSGT) or certified by ABSM as a Registered Sleep Technologist within 2 years of hire.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
