Polysomnography Technician

Find your purpose with CentraCare working as a Polysomnography Tech! In this role, you will help our patients find the answers they are looking for to sleep better! You will work alongside new and experienced sleep techs. Our center administers various ways of testing including sleep studies, home visits, and more. The technologist, overseen by a physician, administers tests relating to sleep disorders in outpatients ranging in age from 5 years of age to adult. You will be responsible for administering and scoring polysomnographs, using Inspire, MSLTs, and CPAP titrations. For your safety, our policy is that you'll never work alone.

Schedule

Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | Onsite at CentraCare Sleep Center Nights | Monday-Friday | 6:30 pm - 7 am | 2 nights a week No weekends or holidays!

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $29.90 per hour and increases with experience Pay range:  $29.90 - $44.86 per hour Night shift differential $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates Part-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED  One of the following educational qualifications: Successful completion of a Polysomnographic Program of no less than one-year duration  Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist Neurodiagnostic Technologist Registered Polysomnography Technologist successful on-the-job training and eligible RPSGT exam Must be a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) within 2 years Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation assistance, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Sleep Center and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment. CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to, hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
