Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is looking for a Pool and Beach Manager that strives for excellence and is a highly motivated team player.  

This role responds to a wide variety of guest and resident requests by accurately assessing their needs and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. 

 

The area of Pool and Beach is a key component for hotel guests and residents.  As such, the Pool and Beach Manager assumes a pivotal role in each aspect of providing fun, relaxation and recreation relating directly and indirectly to the overall satisfaction of the guests and the ultimate success of the property.   

 

The Pool and Beach Manager’s demeanor must be reflective at all times, of the highest standards of professionalism exemplified by the Four Seasons brand.  A consistently positive attitude, knowledge of all aspects of the operation, an outgoing personality, a high degree of flexibility, energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail are ideal characteristics for this role.  Additionally, this role is empowered and encouraged to develop at every opportunity, management skills relating to guest interaction, concern handling as well as logistical problem solving, staff development, product and service enhancement.

The Ideal Candidate: 

Successfully support the integration of various departments within Pool, Beach, and Kids for All Seasons (KFAS). 

Communicate effectively with guests, residents, and colleagues. 

Provide leadership guidance and support for a dynamic team. 

Excellent communication and written/verbal presentation skills. 

Reading, oral and written proficiency in the English language. 

Superior sense of organization and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 

Energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing personality and ability to interact with guests, colleagues and service providers in a warm, friendly manner. 

Minimum 1-2 years experience in the recreation field and/or hotel/resort environment. 

Ability to work outdoors in warm Florida temperatures and be on his/her feet; engaged in the daily operation.
