Pool Deck Server Job Description
 

We are looking for a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team! This position plays a big role for creating and providing best customer experience and satisfaction to our Members!
Your ultimate goal is to provide an exceptional guest experience delivering food and beverages to our members and guests on our beach side pool deck.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

Provide excellent customer services
  Greet customers and present menus
  Make suggestions based on their preferences
  Take and serve food/drinks orders
  Up-sell when appropriate
  Arrange table settings
  Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
  Deliver checks and collect payments
  Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
  Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
  Any other tasks assigned by your supervisor including work that may not be related to table services 

Restaurant Server requirements and qualifications

1 year of experience in Hospitality
  Experience with developing constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers
  Experience with cash register and any ordering information system
  Problem-solving skills
  Team player
  Good time-management skills
  Great interpersonal and communication skills
  Active listening
  Customer-centric
  High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus 

This position provides food/table service to our members and guest poolside throughout the summer. Applicants should be aware that this position has exposure to direct sunlight and heat during the hottest part of the summer.
