**Description**
Business Analyst - Pork
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Business Analyst for the JBS Pork team that is based on site at our Corporate Office in Greeley, Colorado.
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as an asset to the Pork business unit by providing and analyzing data in a timely manner to sales, transportation, QA, etc.
+ Generate, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports based on the needs of the business.
+ Interpret and translate information requests of peers/co-workers/managers into data tools easily utilized by decision-makers.
+ Assist in identifying opportunities where our team can add value to the business by providing commentary and insight into business operations.
+ Continuously implement new technology and reporting tools to improve processes and quality of information in the business unit.
+ Assist in management of IT strategies in the business with fellow Business Analysis team.
+ Analyze sales, operations, and integrated data to identify potential areas of opportunity.
+ Assist plant operations with data-driven yield, expense, and labor initiatives.
+ Cultivate strong business relationships by demonstrating a solid understanding of processes, requirements, and systems within the business.
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Ag Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fieldrequired
+ Industry experience strongly preferred
+ Excellent skills in Microsoft Excelrequired
+ Experience with SAP, and specifically Business Objects, desirable
+ Acute attention to detail
+ Strong ability to think logically and use excellent problem-solving skills
+ Ability to be flexible, work independently and/or on a team
+ Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to find simple solutions to complex problems
+ Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
+ Strong desire to build working relationships and learn new technologies
+ Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
+ As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
+ Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
+ 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
+ Base salary range of $64,000-$85,000;
+ Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
