Job Description Faststream is working with one of the UK's busiest Port Authorities on a number of positions. Our client is looking for a Port Hydrographer to join the team on a Permanent basis.

Reporting to the duty Harbour Master, your responsibilities will include the following:

- Conducting Hydrographic Surveys
- Management of dredging contracts
- Supervision of maintenance to navigation aids

The role requires a mix of Hydrography skills and Project management to ensure the safe operation of maritime activities in this busy port. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 -2 years surveying experience with multibeam survey equipment and operations of small boats. In addition candidates should hold a full UK Drivers license and have the right to work in the UK.
