Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management services at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio is looking for a Portable Equipment Management Technician. The PEMS program requires the individual to be in constant motion, making rounds on the units throughout his or her shift, maintaining visibility and accessibility to our clients. The PEMS employee will deliver and/or set up required equipment at various patient care areas throughout the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
What You'll Do Provide constant support by making rounds on units throughout the shift, ensuring visibility and accessibility to clients.Deliver and set up required portable medical equipment at various patient care areas in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets safety standards before delivery to patient care areas.Maintain effective communication with healthcare staff to coordinate the delivery and setup of equipment based on patient needs.Manage and monitor the condition of portable medical equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained and ready for use.
