Responsibilities:
Greets and communicates with all members in a warm, courteous and prompt manner. Smiles and shows genuine interest in the members’ needs or questions and always attempts to accommodate any reasonable request. Perform general minor repairs. Maintains cleanliness and deep cleaning schedule of structures and interiors. Cleans all areas of structures to ensure health standards on a daily basis. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using machinery such as vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers a daily basis. Empties waste baskets, ashtrays, and transports other trash to waste disposal areas on a daily basis. Respond promptly to any major spills, or other critical situations, using proper protocols for HAZMAT situations. Employ safe working practices as related to the use of chemicals, paint, machinery, etc. Communicates supply needs, as necessary to Custodial Manager and Chief Engineer. Maintains a clean, stocked and safe workstation throughout shift. Washes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Reports any damage, plumbing, or other maintenance issues to the Club Manager, Custodial Manager, Chief Engineer. Works as team with all departmental employees. Complies with departmental uniform and grooming standards. Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and or holidays. Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures. Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors. Uses heavy-duty pressure washer to deep clean structures and pathways.Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Valid driver’s license to operate club vehicles. Minimum 1 year of maintenance, housekeeping, or custodial experienceCritical Skills:
Very organized and able to handle multiple tasks effectively. Able to understand and follow verbal and written direction in English. Works effectively as a team with all departmental employees. Able to operate standard cleaning tools and use cleaning chemicals according to safe work practices. Able to work nights, weekends, or overtime as needed.Physical requirements:
Stands and walks for 95% of workday. Lifts up to 10 lbs. for 85% of workday. Lifts up to 50 lbs. for 5% of workday. Stoops and kneels to complete work assignments. Twists, turns, stretches, and rotates for 95% of workday. Works indoors 95% of workday.
