Priority Chevrolet Chesapeake is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Body Shop Porter to join our team. As a porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our body shop by assisting with vehicle movement, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting our technicians and team members.
What Will You Be Doing?
• Transport vehicles to and from the body shop, parking areas, and customer delivery points.
• Assist with the organization and staging of vehicles for repairs.
• Wash and detail vehicles after repairs to ensure they are customer-ready.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and work areas, including sweeping, trash removal, and organizing tools or equipment.
• Perform vehicle inspections to document damage before repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with customers or team members.
• Support other team members as needed to ensure efficient operations.
Who Are We Looking For?
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Prior experience in a body shop or automotive setting is a plus, but not required.
