Mitie are currently recruiting for a full time Porter, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays starting at 7:00am -16:00pm.

 

Main duties of the Porter:

 To maintain the highest level of cleanliness and safety of the external areas on site which includes carparks. – leaf blowing and rubbish collection removing any debris Manage lockers requests. Allocating lockers, setting and resetting combinations locks Managing deliveries of stock (cleaning supplies)- escorting delivery driver to delivery point unload stock and put away in Cleaning Stock Cage. Meeting room and event space set ups. - monitor meeting room bookings with work orders to guide room/event space requirements. Escorting Mitie contractors and subcontractors around site. Internally and externally escort contractors to required areas where works will be carried out relaying any information both to line manager and information/requests from manager to contractors. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in line with Mitie/GPA policies- notify line manager of any confidential material that could have potential GDPR implications if material is found it is to be placed in confidential waste bins. Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety, quality assurance and environment. Able to manage fluctuating work demands. Along site daily operations be able to include AD-Hoc work Orders. Always be professional with customers both face to face and over the phone. Remain patient and be able to manage conflict – training will be provided.
