\n\nPortfolio Accounting Analyst Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
\n\nPortfolio Accounting Analyst Start Date: ASAP
\n\nWe are seeking a Portfolio Accounting Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity for one of the world's leading financial services advisors! The Portfolio Accounting Analyst will be primarily responsible to keep track of expenses and forecast future performance while preparing and examining financial reports with an eye for accuracy and compliance.
\n\nPortfolio Accounting Analyst Key Responsibilities:
\n\n\n\t\n\tAccurately setup asset profiles in trust accounting/reporting system
\n\t\n\t\n\tMaintain and update trust reporting database, reconcile to other DB applications
\n\t\n\t\n\tDaily cash receipting, wiring, and investing of funds
\n\t\n\t\n\tJournalize and reconcile daily cash and investment activity
\n\t\n\t\n\tCommunicate with Operations Group to manage bond and loan settlements
\n\t\n\t\n\tReview and reconciliation of overdrawn accounts
\n\t\n\t\n\tRespond to bondholder inquiries
\n\t\n\t\n\tData Entry
\n\t\n\n\nPortfolio Accounting Analyst Skills and Experience:
\n\n\n\t\n\tUnderstanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles.
\n\t\n\t\n\tGeneral understanding of structured credit products.
\n\t\n\t\n\tCompetent in all MS Office products.
\n\t\n\t\n\tAdvanced MS Excel abilities - Comfortable with complex formulas and modelling techniques.
\n\t\n\t\n\tStrong written/verbal communication skills.
\n\t\n\t\n\tStrong organizational skills.
\n\t\n\t\n\tBA/BS, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
\n\t\n\t\n\tMust have exceptional communication skills
\n\t\n\t\n\tHybrid schedule, 3 days a week in the office
\n\t\n\t\n\tStandard hours are 8:30 to 5:30. Also there’s a possibility of OT as their responsibilities increase.
