Our client in Minneapolis is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Admin Analyst with 1–3 years of experience in investment accounting and portfolio operations. This role is responsible for supporting the daily operational and accounting functions for a variety of investment portfolios, including mutual funds, collective trusts, and separate accounts. The Portfolio Admin Analyst ensures accuracy in portfolio data, executes NAV-related processes, reconciles positions and cash, and helps maintain the integrity of fund reporting through daily oversight and collaboration with internal teams and external custodians. Key Responsibilities: + Perform daily accounting and operational tasks to support investment portfolios, including transaction processing and data validation. + Calculate and review Net Asset Values (NAVs), incorporating income accruals, expense allocations, and market valuations. + Process and monitor investment trades through their full lifecycle, from trade capture to settlement. + Reconcile cash, positions, and transactions between internal systems and custodial records, resolving breaks in a timely manner. + Review daily control reports and quality control checks, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or irregularities. + Manage and support control activities such as daily cash and position monitoring, ensuring consistency with internal policies and service level standards. + Develop a working knowledge of fund structures, including mutual funds, separate accounts, and collective investment trusts. + Partner with custodians, internal accounting teams, and other operational groups to facilitate smooth and compliant portfolio administration. + Act as a subject matter resource for assigned processes; understand upstream/downstream impacts and provide input for process improvements. + Contribute to identifying risk and control gaps and support the development of re-engineering solutions and best practices to improve operational efficiency. The base hourly range for this contract position is $20-$50 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
