Job Purpose & Scope
Responsible for assisting with the development, execution and ongoing evolution of analytical solutions for the Bank. Implements and maintains reporting procedures in accordance with Bank policies and the Data Governance Framework. Communicates and presents reporting findings and provides guidance to the Central Credit Administration Manager and other departments within the Bank.
Essential Job Functions
+ Engages in a range of activities regarding portfolio analytics to facilitate the maturation of Bank data and the Data Governance function.
+ Prepares ad hoc financial analysis, as required.
+ Produces portfolio analytics management packages for the Bank.
+ Monitors and creates the loan trial balance.
+ Monitors and creates the deposit trial balance.
+ Serves as a Credit Services data steward by interpreting Credit Services data to assist management with strategic decisions, creating business process flows and data mapping for Credit Services data, and assisting in defining and maintaining data definitions for Credit Services.
+ Assists in coordinating periodic data quality audits and data cleansing efforts for various programs.
+ Assists in identifying and documenting data quality issues, limitations and gaps that may exist.
+ Assists in leading the development of issue resolution or change implementation options for data assets.
+ Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
+ Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
+ Drives an automobile on Bank business.
+ Follows Bank and policy, procedures, practices and guidelines.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ Knowledge of financial analysis principles and practices.
+ Ability to demonstrate proficient technology skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL Query for data extracts and structured report development through SSRS, Power BI or similar tools.
+ Ability and desire to learn and use analytical software such as SAS, R, Python, or SQL.
+ Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions to make recommendations and communicate effectively with others in an understandable manner.
+ Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in actions and decision-making.
+ Ability to organize work effectively and follow through on work activities and deliverables.
+ Ability to multi-task and work effectively with exacting deadlines.
+ Ability to demonstrate flexibility and evolve with an ever-changing environment.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or data analytics, information systems, business or related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
+ Minimum of (2) years of work experience in a data analytics and/or financial analysis role required.
+ Prior experience developing and executing queries and/or reporting for data sets required.
+ Prior experience documenting procedures, development process flows and diagrams preferred.
